The MiMTSS Recognition honors the dedication of educators in helping all students succeed. The CCISD’s recognition for Data Utilization highlights its commitment to using data to guide teaching and improve student outcomes. The Gold level award for Implementation and Impact shows the ISD’s strong efforts in making positive changes in education.

MTSS is a system that helps schools provide different levels of support to students based on their individual needs. It allows educators to give high-quality instruction and extra help where needed. The benefits of using MTSS include better academic performance, improved social-emotional skills, and a more supportive school environment for all students.

“We are honored to receive this recognition,” said Jim Rautiola, CCISD Superintendent. “It reflects the hard work and dedication of our educators, staff, and community partners in ensuring that all students have access to the resources and support they need to succeed. This is truly a team effort with our schools and we commend all of the schools that received recognition as well. By focusing on meaningful practices and targeted support, we are doing the right things to improve student outcomes across the region.”

The MiMTSS Recognition aims to highlight the positive work happening in schools across Michigan to support all learners. Schools, districts, and intermediate school districts across the state are acknowledged for their commitment to creating supportive and fair learning environments.
