Welcome to the Copper Country Intermediate School District (CCISD). We are a regional educational service agency dedicated to Supporting a Lifetime of Learning for more than 6,500 students across Houghton, Baraga, and Keweenaw counties. By working together with our local school districts, we provide essential services that help every learner succeed, from early childhood through graduation and beyond.

Our role is to provide the specialized programs and expertise that individual schools need to thrive. This includes high-quality Special Education, innovative Career and Technical Education (CTE) that prepares students for the local workforce, and professional development for our dedicated educators.
