We are parents of children with disabilities. We represent local school districts in Houghton, Baraga and Keweenaw Counties and the Copper Country Intermediate School District.

Regular meetings of the Board are conducted bi-monthly, September-May at 6:30 p.m. at the Copper Country ISD at 809 Hecla Street, Hancock, Michigan, unless otherwise posted. As Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) members, we provide communication, awareness, and collaboration between parents, the community, local school
districts and the Intermediate School District.

PAC members are accessible to local parents for support and information.  PAC, in cooperation with the CCISD, develops and distributes a Handbook for Parents, which informs parents of programs and services available within the CCISD.
Local school districts appoint one parent to the PAC. Care is given in this process to assure that, to the extent possible, the PAC membership also represents the various disabilities of students enrolled in our programs.
