This policy also prohibits unlawful retaliation based on a protected activity. (See Policies 4101, 4102, and 3118).

Any employee who believes that this policy has been violated must file a complaint using the Employment Complaint Procedure in Policy4104. Employees with questions about this policy and applicable laws should contact the Superintendent or Human Resources.

Complaint Procedure

If a person believes that s/he has been discriminated/retaliated against or denied equal opportunity or access to the District’s programs, activities or services, including employment opportunities, the person may utilize the following complaint procedures as a means of reaching, at the lowest possible administrative level, a prompt and equitable resolution of the matter.
