A Proposal to Provide a Lifetime of Learning for our Kids, our Community, our Future

At the Copper Country Intermediate School District, our mission is to provide outstanding educational opportunities that meet the evolving needs of our learners, educators, and community. However, many of our current buildings date back to the 1950s and no longer adequately support modern educational practices. As our programs expand and evolve, the need to invest in facilities that reflect our commitment to excellence and growth has expanded as well.

Currently, the CCISD's facilities are spread across multiple outdated buildings, limiting our ability to deliver flexible, centralized, and accessible education. Increasing enrollment in Career & Technical Education (CTE), rising demand for Special Education and Early Childhood Education services, and the lack of a regional professional development hub underscore the critical need for updated, centralized spaces
