Behavior Support Services
The Copper Country Intermediate School District Behavior Support Services (BSS) Department provides local school staff with data-drive tools and training to prevent and respond to challenging behaviors in school. The mission of the CCISD Behavior Support Services department is to assist educators by providing evidence-based behavioral assessment, planning, consultation, coaching, and professional development services. Through collaboration, we aim to equip educators with tools and strategies to foster inclusive learning environments and support student success. BSS provides the following services to staff in both general education and special education settings, dependent upon the needs of the student(s) and staff:
K-12 Individual or whole class behavior consultation
K-12 Individual Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) development
K-12 Individual Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)
