Ken Wilcox
Teacher of Automotive Technology
I have extensive professional experience as an
Automotive Technician with seven years of
combined experience in the private and public
sectors. I am beginning my sixth year of
teaching at the CCISD Career Tech Center as the
Automotive instructor. I became a Technical
Education instructor so I could help the
students of today become successful leaders of
tomorrow.
My education includes an Associate of Applied
Science Degree in Automotive Technology from
Macomb Community College through the General
Motors Automotive Service Education Program, and
I received my teacher certification through
Ferris State University by obtaining a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Technical Education with an
emphasis in Automotive Technology. I am
currently taking an online course through Ferris
State University to obtain my Occupational
Education certificate.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with
family and friends. Snowmobiling is one of my
favorite winter activities. I also enjoy
assisting my father in the restoration of his
1971 Corvette. |
